About Weather
Weather is intended to help you read forecast information with the place and time still attached. The channel's editorial role will be explanation: understanding the terms on a forecast, preparing a weather-checking routine, and noticing which questions an individual display does not answer.
Planned guides should keep forecasts, observations, and official alerts distinct. They should identify their sources and explain the period and location under discussion. A general article should never pretend to supply live conditions simply because it mentions a place or a season.
The channel will not issue its own warnings, promise that a trip is safe, or turn a probability into a guarantee. Urgent decisions belong with current information from the relevant weather and emergency authorities. Historical examples, if used, should be labeled and sourced rather than passed off as present conditions.
Use these explainers alongside the forecast you actually intend to consult. Check that the location and dates match your plans, revisit the information when those plans change, and leave room for uncertainty. The goal is to make a forecast easier to interpret, not to make the atmosphere sound more predictable than the source says it is.
